The new SCC season begins

 Cornwall’s two teams took to the road earlier this month to play the first matches of the new season.

The 1st team

The 1st team, of Hope Warner, Maddie Griffiths, Joanna Vyvyan, Valeriia Zhdanova, Bridget Murray, Elliot Dyer, Harry Dyer, Jack Dyer, James Whetter, Guy Michell and James Hill, played in Bridgwater, and narrowly lost to teams from Devon and Avon.

2nd team with manager Lorna Riggs

The second team travelled to Torquay to take on teams from Avon and Somerset, and fought hard to win some games, and gain a lot of experience for this young side. The team was - Jess Canfield, Jess Hargraves, Lucy Hill, Kerensa Shaw, Jess Shaw, Matilda Scowen, Julian Cooper, Frank Adams, Alec Newley-Reseigh, Louis Yule and Ed Hill.
