Bob Bell & Penny Shears in Glasgow with the trophy
Cornwall’s very own Bob Bell recently helped England beat Scotland in the Robert McCoig International Masters match. Bob’s report of this fantastic achievement is below -
‘England won the International match against Scotland last Thursday at the Scotland National Badminton Centre in Glasgow 32-10.
I won the O75 Mixed with Penny Shears from Avon 21-12 21-12, beating the Scotland team captain Margaret Emery and her partner Billy Henderson.
The inaugural England v Scotland International Masters match was held 25 years ago in 2000 when I played with Bob Northcott!’
