Mrs Pat Hollands, MBE

Sadly Tecans' club organiser, Mrs Pat Hollands, MBE, passed away this week. A funeral will be held at Penmount Crematorium on Friday 3rd September at 12.30pm.

Cornwall Restricted Championships

Entry forms were released today for the CCBA Cornwall Restricted Championships.

The tournament will be held on Friday 24th, and Sunday 26th September.

The closing date for entries is Friday September 17th and entry forms are available from the Cornwall Badminton website: www.cornwallbadminton.co.uk (see download panel on right)

28th Duchy Open

The 28th Duchy Open championships will be held, as usual, at Carn Brea Leisure Centre on 18th/19th September. This year the prestigious tournament is part of Badminton England's new Silver Senior Circuit. As well as English National Ranking Points, circuit points will also be accrued toward the circuit finals.

The closing date for entries is Saturday September 4th and entry forms are available from the Cornwall Badminton Website: www.cornwallbadminton.co.uk (see download panel on right), and also the BADMINTON England Website: www.badmintonengland.co.uk

2010 Penryn Badminton Bonanza Tournament

The Penryn Bonanza, promoted by Cornwall County Badminton Association is designed to encourage social and league players to play against different people in a competitive tournament.
Separate Social and League categories ensure that players do not feel they may be outclassed if entering.

The event will be held on 16th October from 10am – 4pm, at Penryn College, Poltisko Road, Penryn, TR10 8PZ.
